Join the cozy vibe at the Manor with our tavern night’s seasonally inspired menus, casual seating and lounge areas, savory bites and beer flights.
Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially during summer/fall seasons and holidays. (For parties of more than 6 guests, please do make reservations and a 20% gratuity will be added.)
The main dining rooms, bar, and seasonal patio at Aldworth Manor are open to the public seasonally for delicious food, fantastic drinks, and good conversation with friends and neighbors. Residents of Harrisville and the Monadnock region gather on these Tavern Nights to help roll into the weekend. So reserve a table, stop by, get a hearty bowl of soup, some tasty plates, or a cold beer or seasonal cocktail, and meet old friends and new at Aldworth, one of Harrisville’s most spectacular historic settings.

Our Historic Barroom
Tucked away in the southwest corner of the manor and opening out to the grounds, Aldworth’s barroom combines the Manor’s original trim, mantle, and interior with a contemporary selection of fantastic local drinks and traditional favorites from farther afield.
The bar, which was originally manor-owner Arthur Child's smoking room in the Roaring Twenties, has been transformed into a gathering place for friends and locals with a striking view of Monadnock. On Tavern Nights, guests are welcome to share good food and drink at the wood-paneled bar set amidst wine-red walls decorated with antique paintings, to sit across from friends at a table in the dining room or library, or to enjoy a drink with the mountain and garden views outside on the veranda and portico.
The Drinks
Cocktails
We craft drinks in tribute to our predecessors—Arthur's Ghost is a gin concoction we imagine he would have delighted in—and we strive to offer perfect classic cocktails as well as mouth-watering new recipes to share with our guests. Aldworth uses the best local and regional ingredients, and we believe in fresh-squeezed citrus to accompany house-made shrubs and simple syrups.
In addition to our favorite house cocktails like Alice's Negroni and the Moen Manhattan, we have seasonal specials like Maple Bourbon Cider, the Lilac Empress, Rhubarb Limoncello, and the Newport Shuffle. Other cocktails include, on a rotating basis, the Aperol Spritz, Grapefruit Gin Fizz, Arthur’s Ghost, seasonal house martinis, the Bee’s Knees, Between the Sheets, the French 75, the Gingered Pear, Peach Whiskey Smash and the Pomegranate Cosmopolitan.
Beer
For beer, we will always welcome you with a Peroni as a nod to the manor’s Italianate style or a Guinness to toast with your friends, but we also offer a variety of rotating local brews from our area like Jack’s Abby, Concord Brewing, Henniker and other house favorites.
Wine
And we round out the drink menu with a selection of organic house wines, including wine on tap, and an extensive bottle list.
Custom Packages
For your special event
Our full-service bar can provide custom packages for your event or wedding, featuring organic, local selections as well as your favorite classics. We specialize in creatively accommodating your special event and compliment the liquors with house-made simple syrups and shrubs from the estate and region. Bar staff and glassware are included in our packages.

Aldworth’s catering focuses on seasonal, homemade menus designed with you in mind. Though the delectable food we create for your wedding or special event may be short-lived, the mouth-watering memory of our flavors shared with family and friends in an opulent, singular setting, will last a lifetime.
In addition to crafting delicious meals for guests, Aldworth manages the full-service bar, which can provide custom packages for your event or wedding, and features organic, local selections as well as your favorite classics.
We use Aldworth-raised chicken eggs and blueberries picked on site. We make our own pasta, serve maple syrup from the property’s trees, and rely on delicious local ingredients like cheese, apples, and vegetables to craft a menu that is just right for your wedding, retreat, or special event.
